Live Music, Mezcal, Books, and Art Gallery in One: Discover Café No Sé

Described as a Central American Bohemian outpost, Café No Sé is the spot to be for anything from live music, to books, to delicious Mexican food, to Ilegal Mezcal in Antigua, Guatemala. A place for musicians and artists, the bar boasts live music 365 days a year, complete with an art gallery as well as a bookstore. So whether you’re traveling to meet other artists, or out to enjoy some good music with delicious food, Café No Sé has you covered.

In the 450 year-old city of Antigua, the old colonial capital of Guatemala, Café No Sé can itself be described as a piece of art. The menu has traditional Central American fare including Arroz de Beliz, which is rice mixed with spices, red beans, ginger and coconut milk, as well as Cochinita Pibil, a Mexican style spicy pork dish. Enjoy your dinner listening to the live music in the front bar or head out back to the garden for a quieter environment.

The bookstore at Café No Se is actually attached to the Mezcal bar. Mezcal, a distilled alcohol from the maguey plant, is made in Oaxaca, Mexico. The bartenders at Café No Se are well-versed in the beverage and can serve as guides to the over 30 kinds of tequila and mezcal.
