Celebrating a Strong Year at the 2014 Global Partner Meeting

Last month, Diners Club International® management and franchise CEOs from around the world came together in New Orleans, Louisiana, for our annual Global Partner Meeting. Three days of meetings and cultural events left all of us feeling encouraged and inspired as we head into 2015.

Reflecting on the week, we were energized by insightful, dynamic and forward-looking contributions from experts like Josh Linkner and Karen Webster, who talked about how we can leverage and create disruption in the marketplace. We also heard from several franchises and acquirers who shared best practices in their own countries and regions. From the launch of Belong II, our new brand campaign, to the start of a new chapter with our Global Commercial Payments unit, to insights from our guests, there was much to learn—and there is much to look forward to next year.

I’d also like to take this time to thank those who participated in the panel discussions focused on best practices, industry trends and successful initiatives that are contributing to growth and differentiation within each region.

Doron Sapir of Diners Club Israel spoke about the recently signed El Al co-brand and the campaign efforts to significantly grow the business.

Pablo Salazar provided insight into how Diners Club Ecuador is continuing to grow through emphasis on the Discover card portfolio.

Oscar Mangini shared how Diners Club Japan is enhancing its rewards platform with a 360-degree approach

As we close out the year and prepare for 2015, we are excited to continue working with our issuing partners to forge new, innovative ways for Diners Club International to make its distinctive mark on the global payments industry and pave an even brighter and more dynamic future for our companies.
