Next week, Diners Club will be traveling to Singapore to celebrate Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2015 with some of the leading chefs in the world.

As the Official Financial Services Sponsor of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, we will be on the ground for the awards ceremony on Monday, March 9, and for the festivities surrounding the main event. March 9: Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards Ceremony
Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants of the year will be announced at the Capella Hotel, and individual award-winners such as Tetsuya Wakuda, the 2015 Diners Club® Lifetime Achievement Award winner for Asia, will be honored for their achievements. At the event, Diners Club will host a special sake tasting experience for attendees, featuring three specialty sakes from Chef Wakuda’s personal collection.

March 10: Diners Club VIP Event at Waku Ghin
After being presented with the Diners Club® Lifetime Achievement Award, Chef Wakuda will personally welcome Diners Club guests to his newest restaurant, Waku Ghin—voted one of the world’s best—before his team guides them through a 10-course tasting menu of artfully prepared Japanese cuisine (such as Slow-Cooked Ocean Trout, pictured above).

We are looking forward to being part of the joyful spirit that accompanies all of The World’s Best Restaurant events throughout the year. Part of what makes each event so special is to see firsthand the camaraderie between acclaimed chefs.
